Delete your account or data
How to ask Lanternwick Studio LLC to delete your account and the data associated with it.
This page applies to all mobile apps and games published by Lanternwick Studio LLC, on any app store. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, free of charge. You don’t need to reinstall the app to make a request.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@lanternwickstudio.com, ideally from the email address linked to your account.
- Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include:
- the name of the app or game;
- your username, account email or player ID (if the app shows one);
- whether you want your whole account deleted, or only certain data (for example, saved progress or messages).
- We may reply to confirm the request comes from you before deleting anything.
We will confirm by email once your request has been completed, normally within 30 days.
If an app offers a “Delete account” option in its settings, you can also use that. Simply uninstalling an app does not delete account data stored on our servers.
What we delete
- Your account profile (such as username, email address and sign-in identifiers).
- Data saved to your account, such as game progress, settings and content you created.
- Usage and diagnostic data we hold that is linked to your account.
What we may keep, and for how long
- Purchase and transaction records may be kept for as long as required by tax, accounting or other laws (typically up to 7 years). Payments themselves are processed by the app store you purchased through, such as Apple or Google.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in secure backups for up to 90 days before it is overwritten.
- Our email correspondence with you about the request, to show we handled it.
- Data that has been made fully anonymous and can no longer identify you.
Data collected by third-party services (such as Apple or Google platform services, ad networks, analytics or crash reporting) is handled by those providers under their own policies. Where we can, we will ask them to delete data linked to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
