Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the mobile apps and games published by Lanternwick Studio LLC (“Lanternwick Studio,” “we” or “us”) and to lanternwickstudio.com (together, the “Services”). By downloading or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

1. Using our Services

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and use our Apps on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the terms of the app store you downloaded the App from (for example, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service).

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute our Apps, except where the law allows;
• use cheats, exploits, bots or unauthorized software to interfere with an App or gain an unfair advantage;
• use the Services for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive, or to harass others;
• try to access systems or data you aren’t authorized to access.

2. Accounts

Some Apps may let you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see our data deletion page.

3. Purchases and virtual items

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app store you use, such as Apple or Google, and are subject to that store’s terms and refund policies. Virtual items or in-game currency have no real-world monetary value, can’t be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you rather than sold. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your app store account settings.

4. Your content

If an App lets you create or share content, you keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the App. You are responsible for the content you create and share.

5. Our content

The Services, including their design, artwork, text, music, code and the Lanternwick Studio name and logo, are owned by Lanternwick Studio LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Third-party services

Our Apps may include or link to third-party services, such as Apple or Google platform services, advertising, analytics or crash reporting. We aren’t responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. It forms part of these Terms.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue an App or feature at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we do, we’ll change the effective date above, and continuing to use the Services means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t promise the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lanternwick Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant App in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling our Apps. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
